Funds will go directly to the Folsom Athletic Association (FAA) Youth Assistance Program and Senior Scholarships.How will the funds be used?
Money will go towards the Youth Assistance Program and Senior Scholarships. Youth Assistance provides financial support for Folsom youth residents who wish to participate in sports. The program helps offset the costs of league registration and sports equipment for eligible youth. Additionally, the FAA awards senior scholarships to students from Folsom, Vista del Lago, and Folsom Lake High Schools involved in sports and extracurricular activities. The funds raised specifically support the Lois B. Young Scholarship, further promoting youth engagement and achievement in our community.What will the support mean to your group?
The FAA is dedicated to building a vibrant community through people, parks, and recreation. Youth sports play a vital role in fostering a well-rounded upbringing. Sports promote physical health, social skills, and emotional development, helping our youth grow into confident and resilient individuals. Organized sports create teamwork, friendship, and personal growth opportunities, ultimately enriching our entire community.
